Guinea Pig Reproduction

Female guinea pigs become sexually mature after they are 4 weeks old. Males become sexually mature after 6 to 7 weeks of age but should be 4 months old before breeding. The gestation period is between 59 and 72 days. 1-6 piglets are born with fur, teeth and with their eyes open.
